Christmas has come and gone

Well, it seems that Christmas is very stealthy in Korea. Perhaps Santa is trying to stay under the radar so that North Korea doesn't fire any missles... It came very quickly and almost sprang upon us without warning. Then it was over, no fuss, no muss. Christmas in Korea seems to be just another day, churches are very active, our friend at school made over 300 sandwiches with her church to pass around the community. Other than that it was just another 3 day weekend. It was tough to get into the mood when everyone back home still had one sleep left, but as night approached, we got to call our loved ones and wish them a Merry Christmas.

I must say that being so far from family and friends made this one of the worst christmas' ever, but being able to talk to some of them made our night. For everyone we talked to, you don't know how much it meant to us to have that connection with home and to everyone else, we thought about you, but time ran out and it got too late to call.

I think that this was probably the most homesick either of us will get this year, and now that it's over we've almost reached our six month mark too, so it's all downill from here.

Our love to everyone!
